Description

You will build and maintain backend services using Core Java and the Spring ecosystem, focusing on batch processing and reliable data integration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support RESTful services and batch jobs using Spring Boot and Spring Batch.
• Design and optimize database schemas and queries in PostgreSQL, ensuring efficient data modeling.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ for real-time processing.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve system-wide outages.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and code repositories using GitHub Actions and Git.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on backend development with Core Java (Java 8+).
• Deep experience with Spring Framework, specifically Spring Boot and Spring Batch.
• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL, SQL, and relational data modeling.
• Experience with messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and PCF.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design, multithreading, and performance optimization.
• Experience with file-based integration patterns (SFTP) and job scheduling tools (Control-M).

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models.
• Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and clear technical communication.
