Description

You will own the development and maintenance of backend services using Java in a distributed environment.

Collaborate with Middleware, Unix, Database, and Migration teams to deliver integrated solutions. Develop microservices using Spring frameworks and manage their full lifecycles. Implement security protocols including OAuth2 and OWASP standards. Manage infrastructure components like load balancers, proxies, and SSL/TLS configurations. Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL for Sybase and Oracle databases.

Responsibilities

• Manage application infrastructure and SSL/TLS configurations.
• Optimize SQL and PL/SQL code for Oracle and Sybase databases.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep expertise in Java 7 or higher, with strong preference for Java 8.
• Strong understanding of J2EE concepts (Servlets, JSP, Struts).
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring JDBC, and HikariCP.
• Experience with Websphere and Tomcat application servers.
• Proficiency in Microservices architecture and GitLab.
• Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) implementations.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills for Oracle or Sybase.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with SDLC, Release Control, and Agile methodologies.
