Description

You will design and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot within a microservices architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize ETL processes for large-scale data ingestion and transformation.
• Build RESTful APIs and event-driven systems using Apache Kafka for real-time streaming.
• Model and query complex data structures in relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, GraphDB) databases.
• Integrate backend services with Angular-based frontends to ensure seamless data flow.
• Manage version control via GitHub, track progress using Jira, and conduct code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience (JDK 8+).
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and microservices frameworks (e.g., Spring Cloud).
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Practical experience with Apache Kafka for messaging and event sourcing.
• Proficiency in GitHub for collaborative development and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Any Graduate acceptable).
• Ability to deliver features end-to-end in agile environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, ELK Stack) and automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
• Knowledge of security best practices (OAuth, JWT) and performance optimization.
