Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services within a microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale backend services using Java 8 and Spring Boot.
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure within AWS environments.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and build processes using Jenkins, Gradle, or Maven.
• Implement microservices following agile project execution methodologies.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, SQS, SNS, and S3.
• Proficiency with build and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Gradle, and Maven.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Knowledge of Terraform and Concourse/Jenkins pipelines.
• Experience with API gateways and AWS components like ECS, Lambda, Kinesis, or Kafka.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.

Preferred Skills

• Containerization experience using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, or OpenShift.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, and SDN.
• Knowledge of AWS IAM, VPC, and Kinesis.
