Description

Build and maintain Java backend services for high-scale Big Data and GCP environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java backend services for high-scale environments.
• Integrate Java services into larger data pipeline ecosystems by collaborating with architects and data engineers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and Agile development practices.
• Coordinate with QA and DevOps teams to manage deployments and releases.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of overall IT experience with 6+ years focused on Java backend development.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience working on Big Data and GCP projects from a backend integration perspective.
• Knowledge of Big Data ecosystems including Hadoop, Spark, and Hive.
• Familiarity with GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of data integration patterns, scalability, and distributed system design.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any field (Any Graduate).
