You will own backend development using Java.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement REST APIs and handle multi-threading requirements.
• Design solutions adhering to established Design Patterns.
• Contribute to scaling and cloud infrastructure initiatives.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional backend Java programming experience.
• Proficiency with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Strong hands-on experience with REST APIs and reactive programming (RX).
• Experience with Java multi-threading concepts.
• Knowledge of scaling, Cloud, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with Design Patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within the Amex environment.
