Description

You will design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs for distributed systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Kotlin.
• Architect solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability under high load.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to define API contracts and ensure seamless integration.
• Implement automated testing using Selenium, REST Assured, and Cucumber within CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and mentor junior engineers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and building RESTful APIs.
• Deep understanding of JSON, web services, and data structure fundamentals.
• Experience with relational (Oracle/DB2) and NoSQL (Cassandra/Couchbase) databases.
• Knowledge of Agentic AI concepts.
• Proficiency with Git branching, code quality parameters, and object-oriented design.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Nexus, and Maven.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with agile management tools like JIRA or Rally.
