Description

Build and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy RESTful Web Services using Spring Boot.
• Manage database operations and schema design with SQL Server.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Gradle, and Git.
• Implement infrastructure and deployment tasks within GCP environments.
• Solve complex analytical and technical problems through clear communication.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Proficiency with JDK 1.8 and above.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot and RESTful Web Services.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server or equivalent relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Gradle and Jenkins for build and deployment.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with GCP (Cloud Runner, Cloud Build, Cloud SQL, Tekton pipelines, or Terraform scripting).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Sonarqube, Jira, Rally, or Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
