Description

You will design and maintain scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot, owning end-to-end deliverables from development to production support.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design scalable data indexing, search, and cataloging solutions.
• Implement ingestion, streaming, and search pipelines using Elasticsearch and Kafka.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and production support.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and operate effectively as an individual contributor.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong expertise in Elasticsearch and Kafka.
• Experience designing and optimizing search and indexing workflows.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and REST APIs.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Angular experience is a plus.
