Description

You will own the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-level backend systems and microservices.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and build secure, scalable RESTful APIs for distributed systems.
• Lead the full lifecycle of backend features from architectural design through deployment and support.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability across relational and NoSQL databases.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior to mid-level developers.
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams to define technical strategy.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in backend development.
• Expert proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience developing and securing RESTful APIs.
• Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Proven ability to optimize system performance and scalability.
• Experience collaborating across frontend, DevOps, and QA teams.
• Familiarity with technical strategy and architectural design discussions.
