Description

You will own the development and maintenance of backend applications and frameworks using Java and the Spring ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs following industry best practices.
• Implement data persistence layers using Spring JPA and various databases.
• Apply core design principles and common Java design patterns to codebase architecture.
• Manage build processes and deployment through Maven and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate within an agile development environment to deliver solutions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in backend application development.
• Expertise in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Deep understanding of REST principles and RESTful API design.
• Strong proficiency with Spring JPA and database management.
• Experience with Maven for build automation.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of AWS cloud technologies.
• Solid grasp of core Java design patterns.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Preferred Skills

• BS/MS in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
