Description

You will build and maintain scalable Java-based backend systems and middleware. You will own the full lifecycle of web applications and RESTful services, from design to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications and RESTful web services using Java/J2EE.
• Implement backend logic following object-oriented design principles.
• Manage data persistence using ORM frameworks and RDBMS.
• Integrate with cloud storage (AWS S3) and deploy via CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate within distributed Agile teams to solve complex technical problems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on development experience with Java and J2EE.
• Strong proficiency in Spring frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Batch).
• Experience designing and developing RESTful web services.
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate or similar ORM frameworks.
• Experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.
• Experience using AWS S3 for storage.
• Proficiency with Git and Jenkins for CI/CD.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design concepts.
• Ability to work independently in an Agile environment.

Preferred Skills

• Prior PayPal experience.
