Description

You will design and build distributed systems using Java and event-driven architectures.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain distributed systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement event-driven services using Kafka.
• Develop and expose REST APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
• Write tests using TDD and BDD methodologies with JUnit and Cucumber-JVM.
• Deploy and manage services within Docker and Kubernetes environments.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka.
• Proficiency in building REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Experience with Document DBs such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.
• Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience implementing JWT and OAuth for security.
• Capability to work on Mac OS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure cloud environments.
