Description

You will build and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver maintainable application solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement application security protocols including TLS/2waySSL, HTTPS, and certificate management.
• Manage middleware integrations using MQSeries and other messaging technologies.
• Deploy applications across cloud platforms such as PCF and OpenShift.
• Support DevOps practices by utilizing automated build and deployment processes within Agile environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application development.
• Proficiency with Java and the Spring framework (Spring Boot).
• Experience with cloud platforms including PCF and OpenShift.
• Hands-on experience with MQSeries middleware.
• Strong understanding of application security (TLS/2waySSL, HTTPS, certificates).
• Working knowledge of REST, JDBC, SOAP, JMS, XML, JSON, HTTP, and SQL.
• Familiarity with Linux or Windows server operating systems and networking.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with WebSphere Message Broker (WMB), IBM Integration Bus (IIB), or IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM).
• Knowledge of Kafka, NiFi, Groovy, Python, Maven, or the Elastic stack.
