Description

You will design and develop microservices for large-scale distributed systems and event-driven architectures. You build n-tier applications using RESTful services and Java/J2EE. You maintain tools for the Accessibility team and contribute to technology direction for business improvements. You collaborate within agile workflows to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices within large-scale distributed systems.

• Maintain full stack software engineering tools for the Accessibility team.
• Contribute to technology direction to drive measurable business improvements.
• Collaborate within agile development workflows to adapt to changing business priorities.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in large-scale distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Expertise in Java/J2EE, XML, Web Technologies, and Web Services.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL technologies including Cassandra and MongoDB.
• Strong foundation in computer science, data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Proficiency with source control systems such as Git or Clearcase.
• Experience using issue tracking systems like JIRA.
• Demonstrated expertise in agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Any graduate degree.
