You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and microservices architectures.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and manage data persistence layers with NoSQL databases.
• Develop and maintain asynchronous event streams using Kafka.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system contracts and designs.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.
• Expert-level proficiency with Spring Boot for microservices.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing services on Azure cloud.
• Strong practical experience with Kafka for asynchronous communication.
• Deep understanding of Java design patterns and coding best practices.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra or Couchbase.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical designs to diverse teams.
