Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and microservices for high-traffic applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain REST APIs within multithreaded applications and microservices architectures.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to engineering standards.
• Perform unit and integration testing using frameworks like Mockito to ensure component reliability.
• Identify and resolve backend bugs, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.
• Create technical documentation for all backend components and collaborate with frontend developers and QA teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of backend development experience with strong proficiency in Java and J2EE.
• Deep expertise in Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• Experience with SQL databases (MySQL) and Hibernate persistence frameworks.
• Expertise in building and consuming REST APIs.
• Proficiency with Maven and Git for build and source code management.
• Experience with continuous integration workflows.
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
