Description

You will design, build, and maintain large-scale backend applications using Java and Spring.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop REST APIs to support high-volume clients.
• Build and maintain applications using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Implement SOAP web services and asynchronous messaging systems using Kafka.
• Manage data persistence across relational and NoSQL databases.
• Develop software within an Agile environment, including application design and testing.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Java (version 8 or later).
• Experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for asynchronous messaging.
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
• Working knowledge of SOAP web services.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with public or private cloud environments.
• Knowledge of the financial industry.
• Experience contributing to or maintaining open source projects.
