Description

Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring, supporting cloud-native deployments on OpenShift and Kubernetes.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and Java.
• Implement data persistence layers using Oracle, SQL, and MongoDB.
• Manage asynchronous messaging and event streaming with Kafka and MQ.
• Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift and Kubernetes containers.
• Integrate systems analysis with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs with Spring Framework.
• Proficiency in Oracle and SQL databases.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms: OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with messaging systems: Kafka and MQ.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Financial domain, specifically Payments.
• Knowledge of GenAI and LLMs.
• Experience integrating mainframe applications with Kafka or APIs.
