Description

You will design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot. You will build batch jobs and automation utilities using Python and Shell scripting in Unix/Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance RESTful services supporting microservices-based architectures.
• Write and maintain Python and Shell scripts for automation and data processing.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on deployments, monitoring, and Agile delivery commitments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience building REST APIs and backend services.
• Proficient in Python scripting for automation and data processing.
• Strong experience in Shell scripting (Unix/Linux) for batch jobs and operational automation.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with application monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.
• Experience participating in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and estimations.

Preferred Skills

• IBM CMOD experience.
