Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable software running on the Java platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build distributed, cloud-native applications.
• Lead technical initiatives and sub-projects while aligning with stakeholders.
• Coach development teams to facilitate continuous improvement.
• Manage software operability within Linux environments using metrics and monitoring.
• Apply sound engineering practices including TDD, continuous delivery, and defensive programming.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional Java programming experience.
• Experience developing cloud-native applications on GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and concurrency.
• Proven experience in project leadership and delivering results.
• Ability to design pragmatic, cost-efficient, and scalable distributed systems.
• Proficiency working in Linux environments.
• Knowledge of circuit-breakers and agile methodologies.
• Experience with continuous delivery and test-driven development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Scala.
