Design and maintain high-quality backend applications, REST APIs, and microservices using Java.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test backend applications and microservices using Java.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system design and architecture.

Required Skills

• Core Java (8/11/17) with strong data structures and algorithms.
• Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA/Hibernate.
• REST APIs and microservices development.
• SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle).
• Git, version control, and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
• Unit testing with JUnit and Mockito.
• Multithreading, concurrency, and JVM performance tuning.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in Java backend development.

Preferred Skills

• Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
• Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
