Description

You will design and develop Spring Boot microservices using DDD and TDD principles, owning the full project lifecycle within an Agile environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices using Spring Boot and established design patterns.
• Implement unit, integration, and contract testing to ensure code quality.
• Optimize Spark queries and manage data performance across distributed systems.
• Integrate SQL databases (Microsoft, Oracle, Postgres, or MySQL) and manage data flows.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of backend development experience with strong proficiency in Java 8.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Experience with REST and SOAP services.
• Proficiency with AWS, S3, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Bitbucket and Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Spark Java, Kafka, Big Data, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.
• Knowledge of HDFS and Spark query tuning.
