Description

You will build and maintain scalable backend services in an agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build backend services using Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Design and implement REST and SOAP-based APIs.
• Develop data access layers interfacing applications with relational databases.
• Write unit and use-case tests using Test Driven Development.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Test Engineers to resolve defects.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and SQL.
• Hands-on AWS experience: Lambda, RDS, EC2, S3, Fargate, SQS, SNS, API Gateway.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD delivery models.
• Build automation using Maven or Gradle.
• Strong knowledge of TDD using JUnit, Mockito, and PowerMock.
• Familiarity with cloud-native design and Twelve-Factor Application methodology.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Behavior Driven Development using Cucumber and Cypress.
• Familiarity with Atlassian BitBucket and JIRA.
• Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe 6.x).
