Description

You will develop and maintain backend services within a distributed environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop microservices using Spring Boot and Jakarta EE frameworks.
• Implement security protocols including OAuth2, SSL, TLS, and OWASP standards.
• Manage database operations using SQL and PL/SQL across Sybase and Oracle systems.
• Support application infrastructure including load balancers, proxies, and single sign-on implementations.
• Collaborate with Middleware, Unix, Database, and Migration teams to support system integration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in Java 7 or higher, with a strong preference for Java 8.
• Deep understanding of J2EE concepts, including Java Servlet, JSP, and Struts.
• Experience with Spring frameworks: Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring JDBC, and Hikari Connection Pooling.
• Hands-on experience with Tomcat and Websphere application servers.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills, specifically with Oracle or Sybase.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and Gitlab.
• Experience with GitHub.
• Understanding of application security via OWASP and OAuth2.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with SDLC, Release Control, and Agile methodologies.
