Description

You will build an integration framework to interface the application with external systems using REST API for synchronous interactions and Kafka messaging for asynchronous processes.

Responsibilities

• Implement a centralized Validation Framework to enforce business rules and data integrity on incoming requests.
• Design and build frameworks ensuring scalability and reliability when interacting with external systems.
• Implement retry, timeout, and circuit breaker patterns to manage external system failures or slow responses.
• Develop logic to safely handle duplicate or repeated messages and graceful handling of outages.
• Track external API and Kafka response times, error rates, and availability metrics.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Expert proficiency in Java.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for asynchronous messaging.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Ability to implement security measures, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption for external interactions.
• Experience handling external API versioning and dependency unavailability.
