Description

You will design and build an integration framework to interface applications with external systems using REST APIs and Kafka.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement a centralized Validation Framework to enforce business rules and data integrity.
• Develop logic to handle duplicate messages, retries, timeouts, and circuit breaker patterns.
• Track external API and Kafka response times, error rates, and availability metrics.
• Ensure scalability and reliability when interacting with external systems.
• Implement security measures including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Expert proficiency in Java.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for asynchronous messaging.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Ability to handle external API versioning and dependency unavailability.
• Strong understanding of distributed system reliability patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data encryption and secure external interactions.
• Background in building high-throughput asynchronous systems.
