Description

Build and maintain backend services and data pipelines within a distributed architecture.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Integrate third-party APIs with Java microservices.
• Develop producers and consumers for Kafka clusters.
• Design SQL schemas and manage data migrations between MySQL and AWS RDS.
• Build internal tooling using TypeScript.
• Translate business requirements into technical API and infrastructure specifications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Strong SQL skills for schema design and database management.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL and AWS RDS.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments.
• Proficiency in TypeScript for internal tooling.
• Experience using Terraform for infrastructure management.
• Knowledge of Python.
