Description

Build and maintain high-availability Java microservices for enterprise-scale systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-availability microservices using Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Develop event-driven systems leveraging Kafka for asynchronous workflows.
• Implement fault-tolerant architectures using Circuit Breakers, Resilience4j, and Saga patterns.
• Manage deployments through Docker and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
• Own end-to-end features, including integration testing, deployment validation, and production monitoring.

Required Skills

• 7–12 years of experience in backend development with enterprise-scale microservices.
• Proficiency in Java (8+ / 11+), Spring Boot, and developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and Kafka (Producer/Consumer patterns).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerization using Docker.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, specifically GCP and Azure.
• Experience implementing observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, and ELK.
• Proven ability to handle high-traffic or mission-critical systems.
• Strong knowledge of Git and version control practices.
