Description

You will design and maintain scalable, distributed backend services and data pipelines.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement low-latency services and end-to-end service implementations.
• Lead data feed ingestion, orchestration, and ETL processes for big data.
• Troubleshoot production issues and maintain system stability.
• Participate in discovery phases to define high-level designs for medium to large projects.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of industry experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and J2EE.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring frameworks.
• Deep understanding of Microservices architecture.
• Experience with Kafka and event-based architecture or event sourcing.
• Practical knowledge of Design Patterns.
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, and Cassandra.
• Familiarity with building scalable systems in virtualized cloud environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and continuous development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing innovation strategies and best practices for engineering teams.
