Description

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs for large-scale retail and supply chain systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs supporting order management and warehouse operations.
• Write automated unit tests and apply test-driven development (TDD) practices.
• Collaborate with QA, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure production readiness.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and estimation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java backend software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Java within enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot framework.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Experience with test automation and TDD.
• Proven track record in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kotlin or Groovy.
• Background in supply chain, warehouse management, or order management systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native development.
