Description

You will own the design, development, and operationalization of secure, scalable API-based systems on AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of highly scalable consumer and data-centric services using cloud-native Java.
• Architect and integrate internal and third-party APIs, including async, file-based, and streaming services.
• Drive software delivery from ideation through testing, validation, and production operationalization.
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance, information security standards, and secure coding practices.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software development experience with a focus on server-side Java.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Reactor-Core.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Kubernetes, Fargate, S3, Lambda, and Code Commit/Deploy/Pipeline.
• Strong command of SQL and NoSQL data access and management.
• Experience with microservices, event-driven techniques, and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with async messaging systems such as Kafka, NATS, SQS, or RabbitMQ.
• Proven ability to handle PII and sensitive data with secure coding practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in financial services or tightly regulated industries.
• Knowledge of security compliance standards (GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA).
• UI programming skills with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Angular, or TypeScript.
