Description

Design and implement highly available backend software components in a hybrid environment. You will own the full lifecycle from technical design through continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend systems using Java.
• Develop automated unit and functional tests to ensure code quality.
• Conduct design and code reviews to maintain engineering standards.
• Resolve production issues and fix bugs in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of server-side development specifically with Java.
• Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and Web Services.
• Proficiency in writing unit and functional tests.
• Solid knowledge of basic algorithms and computer engineering fundamentals.
• Experience working with relational databases.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
