Description

You will own the design, development, and testing of backend services using Java and modern engineering practices.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure and services on MS Azure.
• Manage big data processing pipelines using Hive, Spark, and Presto.
• Build and orchestrate containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Handle asynchronous messaging and event streaming with Kafka.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Microservices architecture and RESTful design.
• Practical knowledge of MS Azure cloud platform.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong database skills and SQL.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Knowledge of Kafka, Hive, Spark, and MapReduce.
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to document software designs and track development efforts.
