Description

Design, develop, and deploy distributed web applications and backend services for an enterprise environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain multi-tier, distributed web applications using Java.
• Design, develop, and optimize low-latency RESTful APIs and data aggregation pipelines.
• Model and manage data across Oracle relational and DataStax Cassandra NoSQL databases.
• Implement Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI) best practices.
• Deploy and maintain services on AWS using CI/CD pipelines and GitHub.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of backend development experience with Advanced Java (Java 11).
• Strong proficiency with Spring Framework (Spring Data, Spring JPA, Spring Web Services).
• Hands-on experience designing RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with AWS services for deployment and maintenance.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control via GitHub.
• Proficiency with DataStax Cassandra, Hibernate, and Oracle databases.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems and propose scalable solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise-scale distributed systems.
• Strong advocacy for TDD and CI best practices.
