Description

Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of scalable backend systems while providing technical direction to a development team.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
• Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with product, DevOps, and QA teams to define technical solutions.
• Drive engineering practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and containerization.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform system performance tuning.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of backend development experience with Java/J2EE.
• Expertise in Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate/JPA and REST APIs.
• Deep understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and design patterns.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Maven/Gradle, and Git.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, or Ansible.
