Description

Lead the design and development of scalable Java-based backend systems and mentor junior engineers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Java backend systems and microservices.
• Collaborate with product managers and architects to define technical solutions.
• Enforce code quality standards, test coverage, and performance optimization.
• Mentor developers and conduct code reviews for CI/CD and agile practices.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and translate business needs into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of backend development experience with Java/J2EE.
• Proven experience as a technical lead on enterprise-grade applications.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Microservices and ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
• Solid experience with RDBMS including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI, and Git.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and system design patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the hotel or hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of API security, OAuth2, and authentication mechanisms.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, performance tuning, and load testing.
