Lead backend development and team delivery for Java-based microservices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own hands-on coding and architecture for Spring Boot microservices.
• Manage onshore, offshore, and nearshore teams from the US location.
• Implement data processing pipelines using Spring Batch and Kafka.
• Drive API development and backend system design.
• Apply Agile methodologies to daily development workflows.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of total IT experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on Java development.
• Deep expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Batch for batch processing.
• Practical experience integrating Apache Kafka for messaging.
• Proven team lead experience (2+ years) managing distributed teams.
• Strong backend project development and API design skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional messaging tools beyond Kafka.
