Description

You will lead the design and development of backend systems and APIs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop shippable code, APIs, documentation, and unit tests for digital products.
• Collaborate with API Developers, Leads, and Architects to deliver features via reusable RESTful APIs.
• Partner with Quality, Product, and Cloud Engineering teams to maintain functional, secure digital assets.
• Perform pair programming, assist with systems integration, performance testing, and product releases.
• Mentor junior developers on best practices, design, and tooling.

Required Skills

• 6-10 years of hands-on programming experience as a Senior Engineer or Technical Lead.
• 3 years developing RESTful APIs/Server-side using microservices architecture with Spring Boot.
• 3 years experience in cloud services (AWS preferred), microservices, CI/CD, message queues, and background tasks.
• 3 years experience developing NoSQL and SQL databases, including data modeling and querying for analysis.
• Knowledge of API security frameworks: OAuth, JWT, OpenAPI, token management, and access control.
• Experience with API Gateway, CDN, API Performance testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
