Lead the development of Java-based enterprise applications and microservices in Knoxville, TN.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement REST web services and microservices architecture.
• Integrate multiple data sources including Oracle and Postgres.
• Manage automated build and deployment pipelines using Armory/Spinnaker.
• Implement API-level security protocols such as token-based authentication.
• Integrate cloud-based applications via AWS queues and topics.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional software development experience in Java enterprise applications.
• Proficiency in Java 8/11 and its ecosystem.
• Deep experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Git and GitHub.
• Experience with Java unit testing using JUnit.
• Proficiency in log analysis using Splunk.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle and/or Postgres databases.
• Solid understanding of security principles including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
• Experience working within Agile development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the OTT domain and Rights management systems.
