Lead global backend development teams and oversee the architecture and deployment of scalable Java applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage, hire, mentor, and evaluate global backend development teams.
• Drive the design, development, and deployment of backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Oversee the full development lifecycle from planning and system design through QA and deployment.
• Influence architecture decisions to ensure alignment with enterprise technical direction.
• Collaborate across geographies to deliver business-critical features and define coding standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Java backend development experience.
• Hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Proven experience in backend architecture, system design, and distributed computing.
• Experience managing global or cross-functional development teams.
• Proficiency with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD including Jenkins and Docker.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
