Description

Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of scalable backend systems using Java.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of developers through mentorship, code reviews, and technical direction.
• Design and implement microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
• Drive adoption of modern engineering practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud-native development.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and guide performance tuning.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of backend development experience with Java/J2EE.
• Hands-on expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, REST APIs, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Solid understanding of multithreading, concurrency, performance tuning, and design patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong background in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, build tools (Maven/Gradle), and Git.
• Proven experience leading teams and delivering complex projects.
