Description

You will design and maintain secure, scalable backend services using Java and Spring. You will own the full lifecycle of web services, from architecture to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Java, Spring, and Tomcat Apache.
• Design and implement web services using REST and SOAP protocols.
• Manage integration architecture, including standard, custom, and bulk APIs.
• Apply secure coding practices, perform code reviews, and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Utilize event-driven frameworks and publish-subscribe mechanisms for integration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• Proficiency with Spring and Tomcat Apache.
• Experience with REST and SOAP web services.
• Knowledge of Oracle DB administration and PL-SQL.
• Competency with GIT, Bitbucket, and Eclipse.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Familiarity with IT security concepts including SSL, PKI, and encryption.
• Working knowledge of security tools such as Coverity and Nexus.
• Experience with RHEL and shell scripting.
• Practical experience with Scrum, Jira, Confluence, and Xray.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of AngularJS and modern web frameworks.
• Experience with automated testing and ETL tools.
• Familiarity with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
