Description

Own the quality of Spring Boot microservices through comprehensive API and integration test automation.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement API and integration test suites using Rest-Assured and JUnit.
• Execute low-level integration testing for Spring Boot-based microservices to ensure system reliability.
• Develop unit and integration tests that maximize code coverage and catch defects early in the Agile lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development teams via Jira to clarify requirements, report findings, and resolve quality issues.
• Evaluate and integrate new testing tools and frameworks to improve the automation strategy.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of QA/QE experience with a strong focus on backend testing.
• Proficiency in Java with hands-on experience in Rest-Assured for API automation.
• Strong expertise in the JUnit framework for test execution and assertions.
• Deep understanding of Spring Boot and ability to perform low-level integration testing.
• Experience working in Agile environments using Jira for sprint planning and tracking.
• Ability to write clear, maintainable automation code and communicate technical findings effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Full-stack QA experience with Selenium or Playwright for UI automation.
• Knowledge of TypeScript for modern web application testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline integration and AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot.
