Description

You will design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java 8 and the Spring ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust back-end services using Java EE, OOP principles, and Spring MVC.
• Implement data persistence layers using Spring Data, JPA2, and Hibernate with relational databases.
• Write clean, testable code adhering to test-driven development (TDD) practices.
• Manage application deployment and containerization using Git and Docker.
• Tune application performance by leveraging deep knowledge of Java internals and JVM behavior.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8, including deep understanding of OOP concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with Spring Framework, specifically Spring MVC and Spring Data.
• Proficient in SQL and relational database design.
• Experience with ORM technologies such as JPA2 or Hibernate.
• Familiarity with web servers like Tomcat.
• Version control experience with Git.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker.
