Description

Lead technical development and delivery for digital, mobile, and web platforms, owning the full lifecycle from requirement analysis to architecture and deployment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Plan end-to-end technical scope, including sprint planning and delivery timelines for web applications.
• Mentor small engineering teams, enforce code reviews, and uphold development best practices.
• Estimate effort, identify technical risks, and provide hands-on engineering support.
• Re-prioritize tasks and manage multitasking based on changing project requirements.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience programming web applications using Java/J2EE.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot, MVC, JavaScript, JSON, and REST.
• Extensive experience developing microservices for customer-facing applications.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases and SOAP/REST backend integrations.
• Experience with third-party integrations, including payment gateways.
• Practical knowledge of Kafka and JIRA.
• Experience with Java-based WCM/Digital Platform solutions such as AEM, Magnolia, OTMM, or Liferay.
• Exposure to cloud microservices deployment on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to identify industry best practices and contribute to internal practice teams.
