Description

You will own and deliver software end-to-end, from design and development through deployment and production support.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize big data pipelines and distributed systems using Spark.
• Develop scalable, secure backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Work with NoSQL databases like Cassandra for data modeling, storage, and query optimizations.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across the data pipeline and application stack.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to overall platform architecture and best practices.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Spark (batch and/or streaming).
• Strong programming experience in Java and frameworks like Spring Boot.
• Working knowledge and practical experience with Cassandra or other NoSQL databases.
• Ability to independently implement features, write tests, and manage deployments.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in distributed systems.
• Knowledge of big data ecosystems and tools (Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, etc.).
• Good understanding of applied statistics, including Statistical testing, Distributions, and Regression analysis.
