Description

You will build and maintain big data processing pipelines using Java.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize data processing jobs using Spark.
• Manage and query data stores using Hive and HDFS.
• Implement version control and manage code via Git.
• Operate and maintain infrastructure on Linux environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Experience with Spark for big data processing.
• Working knowledge of Hive and HDFS.
• Proficiency with Git for source control.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Python is required.
• Familiarity with Oracle databases.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oozie or Airflow.
• Knowledge of AWS.
