Description

Architect and implement scalable, resilient cloud services and web services in distributed systems environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and support web services using Python, Java, or Go.
• Manage implementation of scalable applications across public cloud platforms.
• Mentor and technically lead small teams to meet technical objectives.
• Apply SaaS and distributed systems patterns to ensure resilience.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Proven programming record in Python, Java, or Go with released software.
• Extensive experience with distributed systems in production.
• Strong experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (Postgres, Cassandra, Redis).
• Proficiency with messaging/streaming tools like RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Deep understanding of data structures, OOP, and cloud paradigms.
• Experience architecting for AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of frameworks (Flask, FastAPI) and protocols (WebSockets, gRPC).
• Background in containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with frontend frameworks like Angular or React.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
