Description

You will build and maintain cloud-native applications using Java and modern distributed frameworks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features iteratively to build out large-scale applications.
• Modify and enhance existing software to improve the codebase and add functionality.
• Participate in agile estimation and scrum processes to plan work.
• Coordinate application implementation and test functionality against specifications.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional development teams to solve technical problems.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency with Java 8 and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Cloud, Kubernetes, and Cloud Foundry.
• Strong understanding of Reactive Programming and Event Driven architecture.
• Practical knowledge of multi-threading concepts, TCP/IP, and databases.
• Experience designing and consuming REST based JSON APIs.
• Competency with build and deployment tools including Maven, Git, and JUnit.
• Experience working with DevOps toolchains such as SonarQube, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
• Solid foundation in Test Driven Development (TDD) practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Angular 2+, UI testing, and continuous integration.
• Background in pair programming and commercial software development.
